About Precision Endodontics
Precision Endodontics is a dentist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 305 Mt Lebanon Blvd Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15234, which places it among the local businesses of Pittsburgh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Pittsburgh, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Pennsylvania, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 8 amβ4 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 561-3780. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is psgdental.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 809 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dentists in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Pittsburgh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dr. Dugan is the best! She explained everything very well. Sure it was uncomfortable, but I got thru it. Not much pain afterwards. It hurts a bit this morning when I forget not to chew on that side! I just have to chew slower. All in all, not a bad experience sitting in the chair for an hour and a half!

My dentist referred me to Precision Endodontics. He said I needed a root canal on the top right and the bottom left he was not certain. My appointment was yesterday and when I arrived, I was greeted and escorted to a room. She took a new type of X-Ray in which it circles your head several times. She also took some isolated X- Rays of the two teeth in question. Then the bad news came with the dentist. The top upper right needed a root canal and the bottom left, looked like a fracture. She tested the teeth by telling me to bite down on an instrument. I did but not too much uncomfort. Then, the cold test confirmed the upper needed a root canal. To confirm that the bottom left was a fracture, she stuck a pointing instrument down alongside the tooth to measure the depth of the fracture. I could not believe the pain and with no warning of the procedure to allow me to prepare for the worst. I cannot believe there could not be a numbing or shot with the procedure. I had teeth remove, root canals and implants that were not a problem. Often, if they applied a numbing first, you did not even feel the shot. I must say the root canal when smoothly. Over $1900 was the cost of the ro

Fantastic experience! I went in at 11am for a root canal in pain. I left shortly after noon with 100% pain relief. Dr. Salil Kawatra is awesome! He is very professional as well as friendly. I am just absolutely amazed to have had such a pain free and quick root canal. Over 24 hours later and I feel as good as new. Not even pain from the numbing injections! This doctor is A+. Thank you so much again!
